Top 100 Bank Advisers: Who has the most fee business?
We took a fresh look at this year's top advisers and re-ranked them based solely on fee business. For the original ranking, we used a weighted average of six variables; namely: (1) assets under management; (2) trailing-12 production; (3) % change in AUM from the previous year; (4) % change in trailing-12; (5) amount of fee-based business; and (6) ratio of production-per-AUM.
For this ranking, we have the top 25 ranked by the percentage of their last 12-month production that came from fee business. (Earlier we also re-ranked our 100 advisers based on AUM.) In cases of a tie, they are listed by their ranking in the original list of 100. The numbers after their names show where they ranked on our original list.
