Invest Financial Corp. is ramping up its recruiting efforts on behalf of the 120 banks and credit unions in its network.
The third-party broker dealer has named Rebecca Gumley director of new business development with the firm's financial institution recruiting team, Invest announced this week.
Gumley will support banks and credit unions with their recruiting needs by providing a variety of individualized lead generation strategies, it said. She will be based in Tampa.
While Invest has provided recruiting services to its banks and credit unions for many years, it created Gumley's position as an additional resource to fill the growing demand to find top talent for its financial institutions. Its goal is to help banks and credit unions attract top talent from across the country, expedite their hiring processes and improve the efficiency and profitability of their organizations, the firm explained in the announcement.
Prior to Invest, Gumley was a director of the national sales desk at Jackson National Life Insurance Company, an affiliate of National Planning Holdings. In that role, she oversaw a team of sales professionals and acted as a liaison between external and internal wholesaling teams.
"Rebecca has been a top-performing sales manager with an expertise in navigating a highly competitive business market," Steve Dowden, president and CEO of Invest, said in a statement. "Her substantial expertise in growing business relationships and providing exceptional consultative services will be a valuable asset to Invest's recruiting team."
